Welcome
to the WWII Fighter Aircraft Foundation website!
The aircraft currently under restoration is
TF-51 D 44-74960. It
will be finished in the makings of "Missy", flown
by Lt. James G Bartley of the 352nd Fighter Squadron.
Thanks
to Ryan and Marcel Rust of Ryan Rust Racing for their
appearance and support of the Missy TF 51 Restoration and
WWII Fighter Aircraft Foundation on Sunday. Ryan is an exceptionally
bright young man, a very talented racer, and I am sure will
have a huge future with NASCAR! Thanks also to Ryan Rust
Racing for their very generous gift of a hood from the race
car which we will proudly display in the hangar. Also be

writes, "As I promised, here's a couple
of pictures of our activities here in Iraq. The
first photo is me on top of my truck after one of
my Marines finally managed to sneak up on me with
a camera. The second is a few of my Marines waiting
for a mission to go. The third is my team on a recon
patrol in the middle of the desert. Again, thank
you for your support."

crew chief for one of their Sikorsky CH-53E Super
